Club Tower has been awarded a 5 Star Green Star Rating from the New Zealand Green Building Council and is the first building in the South Island to receive a Green Star rating.

It is the most technologically advanced office tower in Christchurch’s CBD. Hawkins Construction were the main contractors working in conjunction with Weirwalker Architects on the site adjoining the Canterbury Club on Worcester Boulevard.

The site is located on the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Cambridge Terrace and houses the Canterbury Club premises and a two-level carpark. The 133-year old Canterbury Club was in dire need of attention to restore the historic Category 2 villa and historic caretakers cottage on the site, to their former glory. The proceeds from the sale of 1398m2 of its land to Latitude Group has enabled the Club to fund this much needed restoration work as well as enable the Club to ensure its survival.

Club Tower is an environmentally sustainable building, and it is the first A-Grade office tower to be built in Christchurch for almost 20 years. Club Tower  reaches  over 40 metres in height and comprises 12 stories with 3 floors of car parking (basement, ground and first floor), and 10 stories of office space. The ground floor has a licenced café/bar space with wide-open lobby and entry spaces.
